This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, SSG Lillian L. "Lilly" Clamens 35 years old, born on May 9, 1972 and passed away on October 10, 2007. We will remember her forever.
In remembrance of Lilly, I was a soldier in the same platoon. I would have left to Iraq with her but I found out I was pregnant. Because of her death I turned my back on the Army and never looked back. She was such a sweet lady and looked forward to her retirement. I was only 19 years old with no car and she would give me a ride home because we were both from Homestead. The last week before leaving I took her to Deco Drive, which was a mega hair store. We laughed and talked and she said she was excited to get back to buy her some new wigs. An amazing women I will never forget.
