Good memories include cruising Harlem in the Corvair, the frequent visits to Maywood Park, and the vacations to Carbondale and Ft. Lauderdale.  Condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear this. We grew up together playing ball all day at Riis Park, then bowling in the winter. Steve was our leader and pushed us to all be better. Made our first trip to Vegas together back in 76. He was a goof but in a good way. Even though I haven’t seen him for a while, I shall miss him. I am so sorry for your loss and am glad to see he enjoyed his family.

I hope the joy of remembering soon overcomes your sorrow. Steve was a great friend that I met in high school. We enjoyed playing all sports with our buddies from the Riis Park neighborhood. Steve was a real competitor and loved a challenge. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

My sincere condolences to your family. Steve was good friend for many years. Hard to put into words how much I will miss him. I can only hope that he will be watching out for all of us, especially his family and the Cubs. GCG!!!!
