Sue and I , along with Frances Perkins and Lula Smith were very good friends at Baylor and kept in touch with each other for years. She and Newman even came to Seymout when her nephew was preacher at Red Springs and they stayed with me. We lost touch later, and I am sorry to hear of her death. Frances died a year or so ago, but I still talk to Lula and will inform her about Sue. I am thankful for many happy memories.
