We met Sunday many years ago and he has always been larger than life. A sweet smile and a greeting that went along the lines, "My junior sister, how is my father?". Wherever you bumped into Sunday, he was always smiling. It is with great sadness that we learnt of his passing which came to us a shock. We pray that The Almighty comforts Lumka and the kids during this difficult time. It is only The Almighty who knows when and why. Lumka, my sister, have faith. The Almighty is always faithful and merciful and through His Grace you will get through this. You were truly blessed to have shared the time you two had together for not only were you husband and wife, you were great friends. When you are sad, remember the good times you shared. And know that you have your angel right beside you, always. In all you do, Sunday is with you. Sending you and the kids all our love and prayers, always. From The Abrahams Family.

Sunday, my in law I never got to meet you but what's comforting is that I know you more than having to meet you physically, because of the love you had for your wife, Lumka, the mother of your children, and our princess. I fell in love with this special couple only in 2017 but the connection was as if its has been years.

I was gutted by your sudden passing such that I questioned God , how come, and why? But the answer was clear, God also wants the best.

Lumka ntombazana ginya noba kukrakra. Ungazenzakalisi, we love you. Cherish all the memories you have with him. God will carry you with his healing and loving hands.

My sincere condolences to the entire Ekeukwu family. May your beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.

It's still difficult for me to accept that you're no longer with us. How do I sum up 22 years in a single page? I had the honor and privilege of being the wife of a wonderful, caring, and God-fearing father and husband. My beloved husband, companion, brother, best friend, business partner, and everything else. It was an honor to be your queen, and it was a privilege to serve you , you melted my heart.

Every year I spent with you was an adventure; every day was different, but we made the most of it. With you, I was blessed with the most wonderful children that God given us. You've shown me unadulterated affection and admiration. I'm learning to face the world without fear thanks to you. I've been learning about the most important topics on a daily basis.

You've had such an impact on so many people's lives. Your unwavering commitment to your community and your people. You never craved anybody's praise. You believed in doing the right thing and even in the face of utmost danger. You never relented from speaking the truth. You span the breath of human experience, full of laughter, joy, kindness and sometimes almost childlike to find something good in almost everone and every situation. In any generation there can only be one like you.

You were that one star, a destined child, a happy giver, born for no other time than the one you were in. Although our time together was cut short, the joy we shared will last a lifetime. I'll miss my husband, my best friend, my only companion, my everything. But I'll take comfort in the fact that he will love us until the end. Your legacy will live forever to our generation. Your death will not be in vain. Your last words to me still reverberate in my head. Until we meet again, I will always remember your last words. You dear wife Lolo Onyinyechi Lumka Ekeukwu.
