Ms. Chrastina was born November 29, 1954 in Newark, NJ to the late John Chrastina and Catherene Molner Day. Before the onset of her illness, she owned a cleaning service in Florida. Her work ethic set an example for her children and grandchildren to follow. It was her determination to fight and endure that carried her through the hardest times during her sickness. Recently she had moved to Franklin to be with her daughter. The time spent with her children and grandchildren were the most precious to her, especially excursions to the beach.

 

Survivors include: one daughter, Denise Yates (Brad) of Franklin; two sons: Joseph Martinez (Brandy) of Panama City, FL and Thomas Brock (Christy) of Fort Stewart, GA; fourteen grandchildren; one sister, Joan Rivera of Miami, FL; two brothers: James Chrastina of Sellersville, PA and John Chrastina of Dawsonville, GA; and a number of other relatives and friends.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Chrastina; and one brother, Frank Chrastina, Jr.
