Susan, I just found out about your passing. I am devastated by the news and so terribly sorry that we lost contact over the years. You were my very first friend in life and my best friend for many years, until my family moved to Calgary when I was 10. I have so many wonderful memories of you; from my dad pulling out your baby teeth with his sturdy old pliers, playing hide and seek in your laundry room in Regina... smoking our first cigarette, one of your mom's awful menthol ones...the list goes on and on. Watching Sonny and Cher on the black and white in your bedroom...hiding your beloved pink ballet slippers...
I have never met anyone else like you; and being exposed to your amazing personality at such a young age has made me seek out and appreciate the idiosyncrasies of people. Thank you for all the amazing memories I have. I am so sorry you never met my son, but you will live on through all the crazy funny stories I will tell him about you.
Hey Susan - R E M E M B E R!!!! Love always, Darweeny
