My son had Tami and she is the reason he loves books and we have a huge collection of Roald Dahl at our house thanks to her. She opened his eyes to a breadth of literature. She was able to understand children and the fine details of their personalities in a way only a parent could. As the years passed he still made time to visit her after school as she was always so welcoming. My younger daughter who was in preschool at the time was also a regular fixture in her class during drop-off and pick-up times. She never minded the 3 year old who lingered too long in the classroom. Now that my daughter is in 1st grade in room 2 she is very sad to not have Tami as her teacher. She spent the entire summer excited to be in room 2 which she got, but sadly Ms. Schilling is not there. We all miss you tremendously and you have had a lifelong impact on my kids.
