Tapiwa @5
At around 5 years, one weekend we took Tapiwa to Greenwood park for
those kid games. We paid for everything and with our tickets, we moved from one play station to the next. Tapiwa used to refuse to sit on those electric chairs for some time but on this day we thought she was a big girl and we ecouraged her to try it. She refused as usual and but we forced her on, she cried but we encouraged and followed the chair as it took off clapping and cheering her up. She did like it either, she continued "no mummy I do not want". Tapiwa was forcibly pushing the chair and the safety belt until she managed to undo the belt and fell down. It was such a disaster though she was not hurt. Takaenda kumba tatonhorerwa murume nomukadzi.

At around 4 years, we were staying with a muzukuru who was going to work close to where we were staying. Tapiwa;s father was going home for lunch as he worked also close to home. Muzukuru decided to join sekuru for lunch daily. I didn't like it. We discussed the issue with my maid and I advised her not to prepare lunch the following day. I also told my husband to find something to eat because sisy was not going to cook, my husband never bothered to ask why he just agreed. On that Monday Tapiwa didn't go to school, she was home and sisy did not prepare lunch as agreed. When muzukuru showed on the gate at luch time as usual, there goes Tapiwa standing at the door with her little hands wide open across the door entrance, "Everson, my mother said nhasi hausi kubikirwa, wajaira. Vatoudza sisy and there is nothing for you, come and see. Just go back to your work and buy your own food. Sisy vakati mama gambi munhu unoshaya pokupinda.

When she was around 1 and a half years, we visited my parents kumusha in Gutu. When it was bed time, Tapiwa started asking for an apple "mummy, I want an apple' there goes Tapiwa. "I did not bring apples Tapiwa I will buy you tomorrow' I said, it was such a big story "No mummy, I want". The story goes on and on. Tapiwa cried that we failed to sleep, Tapiwa's father tried to threaten her but it failed to work, it was almost mid night achingochema chete. Then my mother took a big green tomato, washed it and said "here is your apple muzukuru". Mwana akadya tomato kunge anopenga, kupedza rose asked for another one and finished it again. Ahh takapererwa tikati koapple racho havarizivesu? That was it we then managed to sleep after the tomatoes.
