Losing family, especially when very young, is a special kind of pain. When mum, a single parent died a day like today 14th October, I was old enough to remember all of it but young enough to understand none of it.
It's hurting, no matter how old I get - she was gone too soon.
I will always remember how in one of your last days, your eyes literally emitted some sparkle as you sang "Thank you Lord I am revived, now I am ready to come home". I don't know why you sang it when I was with you but I believe it was to pass a message that you were sure of Heaven and that is where we will meet again. Regarding your voice, it has almost faded out of my head, I only get little traces of how it was in the voices of Dorothy and Annmary. Keep on shining mom - we will meet again!
Mom there are now 3 versions of you: Natasha Wawira, Kelsi Wawira and Arianna Wawira. God had a great plan for you but it was cut short, I always live to know that I am destined to complete what you started.
