Her Life
February 8, 2021
Teri Denise Starr was born in Chicago, Ill to Gladys and Theodore Jackson. Teri was the 4th of 6 children. Teri married Brad Starr on September 1st 1973, and on May 24th 1978 Teri gave birth to Norell. Teri was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1972 and served as a regular pioneer for 36 years.

Teri was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Teri attended Catholic school at an early age, and had a desire of becoming a nun and a teacher. However, after learning about Jehovah, and the truths contained in the Bible, she was able to use her life and love of teaching to help others learn about her God Jehovah. So even though Norell went to public school, she also had the privilege of being home schooled.

She loved spending time with her family, which was expanded with the addition of Marleigh (their precious dog). Teri also loved traveling, she cruised yearly with her family and friends. But, one of her most memorable trips was a gift from Norell for their 45th anniversary to Europe. While there Teri and Brad took a day trip to the "Leaning Tower of Pisa" which she often spoke of fondly. Teri also loved shopping, she loved her shoes and jewelry. In reality Teri herself was the real "sparkling accessory" and whoever had the privilege of being part of her life can attest to that.
