Dad, I didn't get enough I love yous in your lifetime. Now I'm left saying them to a picture or the sky or even in my head just hoping you can hear me. I'm left hugging an old shirt or pillow wishing it smelled like you and I could feel you hug me back. I wonder who will text or call to let me know when a thunderstorm is heading my way or to tell me when all the good holiday shows are on. I can't call you anymore to share proud moments of the kids as they grow. I will never hear your voice so soft as it always is on fathers day when i call and say "happy fathers day daddy" and I can tell what that one call means to you in your softly spoken "thank you"
I'm miss you so much. Tomorrow will be the last time I get to kiss your cheek and my last chance to make sure you know what you mean to me. I will ALWAYS be your baby girl. I know you will always be with me and one day you will hold me in your arms again. Until then, know you are my hero. In so many ways u have made me who I am today. I love you MUCH daddy.
