Terry .....
My friend, my nieghbor, my co-worker, hunting partner, travel partner, schoolmate and there was more much more....there was genuine and there was real, uncommon and ever present with him. Adventure.... yes he loved them flying, building, creating, discovering and if you were with him you weren't in it to watch..... It was going to be thrilling and you were going to have one hand on the throttle and the other on your pulse! When it was done you would count your limbs and say, " Wow! That was fun let's do it again!" Then you did...or as was also common with Terry he would show that uncanny restraint and say, "Nah...I think once is enough". Then we would both laugh knowing he was right. See, if you had the courage, Terry knew how to take it to the edge and then also get you safely back to firm ground. We did and he did, respectfully so. You didn't so much join Terry in an adventure, (and I say with kindness and fondness) you lived it!...with him. We lived many together, tough...? yep...some, but most by far were thrilling, exciting, and spirited. Terry made it so...,he could squeeze the juice out of life and hand it to you with that grin of his...,as if it were a cool glass of lemonade on a hot afternoon. ThanksTerry, for sharing a positive, thrilling and spirited outlook on life. I always liked shaking your hand, you could feel the life pulsing in it and you always came away feeling like you had a hold of that spirit of yours for just a moment. Good memories....just the thing a man needs in later years, but that handshake...., I'll miss that.
With Love my friend,
and Fond wishes of comfort to you Betty, Tanya, Chris, and Jim.
