“Theogene Lee”
“Uncle Lee” is what he was fondly called,
First by our children and later by us all.
He was a kind, funny and generous man
Who loved our family as much as one can.
Uncle Lee always wanted to be helpful with any special project or quick repair,
So we knew we could always count on him to be there.
He loved to take Chip and Crystal on vacations too,
First to Disney World and later the Caribbean blue.
Because our family was truly blessed to enjoy Uncle Lee's friendship for so many years,
It is of little wonder that we now feel sorrow and like shedding a lot of tears.
Even though we know Uncle Lee led an exciting full life of eight-seven years,
Including being in the Korean War where his valor earned him a Bronze Star,
Theogene will still be greatly missed by all who know him both near and far.
Uncle Lee was always there for us,
And he hardly ever made a fuss;
Even when his health started to fade away,
He tried to keep his spirit up every day.
As we now celebrate your life with your body now being laid to rest,
We know you are now enjoying Heaven and loved ones who are already there to now love you the best.
Until it our time to once again be with you
In glorious Heaven where we will never feel blue,
We will cherish our memories of great times with you!
So for now, farewell to our wonderful Uncle Lee
Whom we love and know that one day we will again see.
Love,
Glenn Gardner and your whole Gardner Family

I had the great pleasure of knowing Theogene Lee for around 40 years. He not only became one of our family’s best friends, but also became an unofficial relative fondly known by all of us as “Uncle Lee.” His warm, kind, loving and generous nature made him very easy to also love and respect and his fun sense of humor made his company so enjoyable at all our family events through these many years. At Thanksgiving and Christmas Uncle Lee & I always enjoyed my spiked egg nog too! Uncle Lee even took Chip and Crystal on wonderful vacations with him. He will be greatly missed by all of our Gardner family. Knowing how much Uncle Lee cared for us, I would not be surprised if he does not ask God if he may become one of our best Guardian Angels to watch over our family still here in Earth until we meet again! Farewell my dear friend until we meet again. Love, Glenn

Mr. Lee was a sweet, kind gentleman who had a heart of gold. We hope his loved ones will be comforted by their memories of this wonderful man.
