Our mother lived quite a life!  This small woman always carried a strong pride and
faithful character wherever she was.  After raising 6 children, she went to work in the Aerospace Industry.  She worked her way from being a file clerk at Lockheed to a Systems Configuration Engineer at Northrop-Grumman.  After the death of her second husband, Mom came to live with my sister, Coleen and her family. As I returned to California, Mom lived with me for 2 years in Newport Beach, CA.  For me, those 2 years were the most blessed time I was able to spend with her.  We
were both doing well, she had retired, loved her new home (we decorated it together).  She could still drive, loved her freedom and we had many a fun nights just walking over to an Italian restaurant near our condo.  We ate, drank plenty of wine and giggled on the walk home, sort of knowing we were buzzed but laughing fools we were :-).  I miss you Mom.  I know the veil is thin but its not the same without you here.  We are blessed that you went Home, as your suffering was so hard on you.  Peace has come for you, Mom.  See you in a blink.  Barbie
