Tommy, Happy 70th Birthday! Everyday, I look at the picture of you, me and Bobby Jester in the Bay House after one of the 4th of July Celebrations in OC. After all the cooking, fireworks and partying. We are sitting together laughing hysterically, enjoying life and our good friendship. I miss you brother and will never forget you! Rest in peace! Love, Ronnie

Many blessings to the Collins Family. I knew the family from far away and always heard and enjoyed seeing pictures of the three Collins boys! Many years ago, Anne Collins sat with my mother, Virginia Warren, on the beach together most times! Heaven gained another shining star!

I will never forget the summer days of my childhood spent with Uncle Tommy and the whole Spalding and Collins family in Ocean City, MD. I remember always being SO excited to spend the week with Tom, Gretchen and Will. UT's hugs were so strong yet so warm. I could always feel his heart and love for me through every conversation we had and every joke he made. As I grew older Uncle Tom and I continued to have a close relationship. He made many trips out to Southern California and visited me while I was living in LA. I will never forget the "celebrity" dinner we had at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel with Will and Gaemus. Lots is smiles, cocktails & laughs. UT was always the life of the party but more importantly he made sure that whoever he was with felt welcomed, included, comfortable and cared for. More recently, he visited my husband and me at our house in Denver. We were able to show him a piece of our life in Colorado. He expressed so much pride & happiness for us. The feeling of love and support I received from him was like a fathers - intense, true, genuine and unconditional. That's Uncle Tom. A person in my life I was so blessed to have. Our relationship was special because he was so special. I love you a Uncle Tommy. I'll miss you so. But, have faith we'll all be together again (with rum & cokes in hand). And, maybe we'll throw in a dirty martini : )

Tommy and I were linked at the hip growing up. So many good times, I can't even begin to describe. Our families were as close as you can get. As we grew older and moved away from each other, we always kept in touch, like we lived next door. We had a very special bond between us. Tommy and I loved each other like brothers. He was so good to me and my family, words cannot describe. My life will never be the same with him gone. But, one day we'll both be together riding that Vespa 125cc motor scooter in the sky:) Love you Tommy! Ronnie

We moved from Ocean City, Md.to Vero Beach because of an amazing, wonderful friend, Tommy Collins. Beautiful Gretchen, Tommy and Will had us in their home countless times. How fortunate we are to have shared such wonderful times with them. Tommy, thank you so much for touching our lives. Love, Bud, Deb and Chelsea Taylor

Tommy, we are beyond devastated. The shock of your sudden death has effected so many, many people. We will never ever forget how good you were to all our family members. We were all so blessed to have been related to you. Your generosity knew no bounds and you always made all of us feel so special. We'll also never forget how royally you treated little Alice on her first trip to the beach. The picture of you and her as you helped her dig her first clam will forever be imprinted on my mind. The look on her face was priceless and it was all because of you.
So as we all down here mourn your passing, we know there are many others "up there" who are truly celebrating to have you back with them. Please know you will be forever missed and that there is a huge hole in our hearts which will never be filled.
Goodbye for now........save some of Nanny's pedahead for us when we up there too!       Love, Cathy and Bob

Our dear Tommy was always about family. He always made you feel that you were the most important person in the world to him. We spent many many summers with him in ocean as our children grew. The gatherings with him were the best and thank you Tommy for the love and so very many great and crazy memories.

Our family was blessed having my dear cousin Tommy in our lives for as long as we did. He had the kindest heart, a gentle spirit, an infectious smile, a witty sense of humor, and a generosity beyond compare. He made everyone feel right at home with him no matter who or where, on the beach, on his boats, in a bar or restaurant, in his home...everywhere! I will always cherish all the good times we shared.
THC blessed us with his TLC, tender loving care. Love you always, Tommy. Miss you, until we meet again. Janet ❤️

Tommy was a one in a million friend. He was always trying to make those around him feel special and comfortable. I have know tommy for about 26 years from both ocean city days and also Florida. Every time he knew I was in Florida he would call and say let’s get together for dinner or drinks. He was also a terrific dad. I remember once when visiting him at his Florida home, will (as a young child} care running into the room. Tommy got down in the floor and started playing with his son not forgetting that we were there, but taking time even with his guest to show his love for his son. Tommy you will be greatly missed y friend but rest knowing you have touched the lives of everyone you met. Including me my friend. Rest In Peace and happy sailing.
