I am watching over you from the stars, don't be scared, I know exactly where you are, because there's a piece of me and it's deep in your heart, even death could never tear us apart. So very grateful for all the wonderful memories that keep me going, til we meet again, love you more.

His Life
December 22, 2018

I met Tom in 1973, and we had our first date in December. He was a very good athlete, played numerous sports, but excelled at baseball. He was drafted out of high school by the Minnesota Twins, but chose a college scholarship instead. I always told him that if he would have signed with the Twins instead of taking the scholarship we probably would've never met. We got married in October of 1977, and bought our home in 1978. Tom worked at the shipyard as a supervisor and when that closed down for a chemical company. We were lucky enough to have two daughters who got married and gave us four grandchildren, three girls and a boy. They were the loves of his life. He was a very generous, loving person, and is so terribly missed by all of us. He has left a large void in our lives, but we try to fill it with all the wonderful memories we have of him. Grief is definitely the price you pay for love.
