The Deer

November 11, 2017

II have  told how Tim fed the yellow stripped cat, the rooster, the racoon and thr deer.

I remember the day Tim told me he was in his cabin on a hot day in July when he hear the the strange cries of an animal outside. He went outside he found a deer lying down unable to stand.it appeared to have a broken back. The idea that this deer had drug itself to the cabin of a human who had fed him and his family for help. The thought of the compassion and friendship Tim had shown to this deer. That if anyone could help him it was Tim. Some how Tim found peace and compassion as he  tended he suffering that deer was going through. That is who Tim was .

First Love

January 2, 2017

I knew Tim when we were teenagers. He was 16 and I was 13. We bowled and played pool at a place called Sportslanes in Kinston, NC. He was my first love. My first kiss. I am so sad reading this. You never forget your first love and first kiss.  You are forever in my heart and your family are in my prayers.

The Suitcase

November 25, 2014

On November 6, 2013 Tim shared a story with me. I remember we were coming home from having the pre op test at the hospital.
Tim told me when he was a child he ran around with three other boys one of the boys was a few years older and bigger then he was. This older boy was always picking on him and the other two. One day the three younger boys were out paying in the alleys and they came across an old suitcase that was thrown out for the garbage man to pick up. So they wanted to open it to see if it held any treasures.
The boys finally got the courage to open it and the jumped up an ran away as fast as they could. They ran into the older Boy who stopped them and asked where you going in such a hurry. And the boys told them they found a suitcase in the alley and opened it. The older Boy asked well what was in it? The yelled a Petlet Gun and the Older Boy got exceited and said where is it where is it.. So they took him to the suitcase and he pushed them back and ran to it and flung it open while looking at the boys reached in and pulled out a dead pellican. He Screamed like a little girl dropped it and ran away.
That was the first and only time I saw Tim laugh out loud. The entire time Tim told the story he patted my arm. He was so happy that day.
