A Heart of Gold

January 8, 2015

We all know that Tim could be a growly tough guy on occasion, but he also had a soft touch not everyone saw.  I had been unemployed for over 6 mos and was reaching the end of my rope when my good friend Gene Anawalt called his friend Tim to tell him about my situation.  The next day Tim called and asked me if I would be interested in working for him at Unistrut.  Of course I jumped at the chance, but didn't find out until later that he really didn't need any more personnel to join his team at that time.  He simply created a new job title and told me to start digging up new leads!  I never forgot that kindness and Tim and I remainded good friends from that day on...

Tim the Man

January 6, 2015

Tim and I go back to the 70's.  Tim was one of the Unistrut TOP TEN salesman in maybe 1976 at $714.00.00 in sale, that toped to group !
Tim was a very hard worker.  I enjoyed the years working with Tim and have many great memorirs.

As has been mentioned, he will be missed!  But he is another bright star in the UNISTRUT  rich history.  Thank you Tim.

ONE CRAZY WILD FELLOW

January 5, 2015

Tim Kipper was the kind of a person that if he was with you and he liked you he made you feel better about yourself. He made you feel like you could do anything and conquer the world. Unforttunately it did not always work out that way but you believed that it could and would. Timmy made me a better person and a better salesman just by knowing and being around him. He was the consomate "COOL DUDE". i REALLY MISS HIM ALREADY! The memories will live on with me all of my life. He once told me that I was liked by him well enough that I could come into his home and take a crap in the family room and no one would be the least upset with me. I will always remember that statement and that Tim told that to me. Tim was like Frank Sinatra and will always be "THE MAN". and the "CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF THE RATPACK. Rest in Peace my frriend and brother til we meet again.

Unistrut Story

January 5, 2015

I worked for Tim in Colorado with Unistrut for almost 4 years, back in the 90's. He and I had a presentation for a large cleanroom job in Fort Collins, for Hewlett Packard. It was Tim, Larry Simon, and a few others from Unistrut participating in this presentation. Each got up and spoke of different aspects of how we would be handling the project. Tim got up and spoke for maybe 15 minutes, and he came back and sat next to me. He didnt studder hardly at all during the presentation and came back and and asked me how I thought he did?

I replied.."I didnt understand a darn thing you said"...we both laughed pretty hard!

There are many stories of working together with him that I could share. He was great to have as a boss and a friend in the years to come. I would NOT be where I am today without him giving me the opportunity to work with him in Denver at Unistrut.  We reconnected a few months ago, and I will never forget what he said in a text one day, when I said I was praying for him ...."I AM WITH GOD" he said....!

Our family will contiunue to pray for all of the Kipper family during this difficult time. God bless you Tim Kipper!
