Mr.Todmia as called AKA the King and Chairman. I have known you for five years and it seems to be 25 years. It is hard to believe and accept your departure from us. You were  a great friend and a colleague. Your big hugs, priceless smiles, and loving  nature will be remembered forever. You were remarkably supportive and hardworking.  Your  humaniterian and caring personality would remain irreplaceable.You are one of a kind and no amount of tears, sadness and anger could be done to express how much you will be missed. I dont know why it happened suddenly but God knows why. You touched lives expecially, children, elderly and teenagers. Your calm and peace driven spirit made changes to many families. You were always ready to listen and willing to comfort the broken hearted.  Obedient and ready to displease yourself for the sake of others in need. You were a Hero and an Icon to many. Your death will seldon put a revise in our lives. It is hard to let you go but we must wish you well as you rest in God's bossom. Adieu !. Goodbye and Rest for Ever !. 

I met Mr. Gabriel Todmia in the early nineties sharing our love for tennis. Through this extra ordinary experience I was very fortunate having him as a dear friend, highly intelligent gentlemen with a most caring and sharing heart. Coming from Camerron with myself being born & raised here in Los Angeles via Compton, California I would educate Mr. Todmia on the pro's and con's of the inner city while making him understand the history of the african american man here in Los Angeles which over the years he would coined me with the phrase as "Doctor Sanchez" which I always took with admiration and respect. Through our compassion for tennis I introduced Mr. Todmia to Rowley Park Tennis Association where he will embark on some outstanding tennis players who not only enjoyed his tennis skills but ADMIRED Mr. Todmia for what he truly was a kind soul, wonderful gentlemen and intelligent scholar. Hearing of his tragic passing has myself and all of his Rowley tennis associates very sad and heart broken that he is no longer with us as one of our occasional favorite past times we will do after tennis is drink Heineken beer in which we would laugh and share wonderful stories while enjoying fellowship. A FINAL toast to Gabriel Todmia aka the "Lion King" who embarked many memorable and fun moments which left an indellible impression to so many who had the privelage of his extraordinary company. Fare well kind sir and thank you for your GREATNESS!

The Board of Directors (BOD) together with the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Bali Cultural Association announce with regret the passing into glory of a pioneer member, Ba Tita Todmia Gabriel Fonyonga known among friends and associates as ' Ni Gabby'. This tragedy happened in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, May 11, 2017.
Ba Tita Todmia was looking forward to celebrating with the BCA USA family during the upcoming Convention as the Association which he helped create turns thirty. Ba Tita did not just pay his dues and sat back. He was a very, very active member. He was the main host of the 2003 Convention in Los Angeles. He played many vital roles within the organization. He was a community organizer and a very energetic person. Ba, the Association will miss you. 
To his immediate family, the Association pledges it's support in kind and cash to assist in lightening the burden imposed by this tragedy.
Funeral programs will be communicated later as we learn from the family.
