TRIBUTE TO PASTOR TITI ALEKE BY Oluyide and Austen C. Ukachi, Senior Pastors, HAC
Dr Horatius Bonar's (1808-1889) classic song titled, ONLY REMEMBERED resonates whenever we lose a dear one to the chilling hands of death.
When the hands of death has taken its toll on us, the one thing that lingers in the memory of those we leave behind is our good works.
Our dear sister, mother and Pastor, Titi Aleke will be missed and remembered for her different roles and works both at her home, the Church and workplace.
When she joined He's Alive Chapel, she played her role as a member of the choir and children's teacher.
As a single lady, she comported herself decently before she got married to Fabian,
As a housewife, she was a true, lovely wife and mother who took care of her immediate family. Not all house wives are cheerful at receiving uninvited guests, but Titi was an exception. She always welcomed guests to her home warmly and with lots of smiles.
She was a mother to the Badore Church and the entire HAC family.
She was a lover of children. She loved the youths, her annual summer holiday programme where she invited me to speak yearly revealed her passion for the youths. The youths will really miss her. No doubt her students at Kings College, LAGOS will miss her too.
She ran the race well, and has handed the baton, she has left the track for us to continue in the relay race. We shall all miss our sister, Titi. Adieu, our beloved sister.
