I know there will be an amazing celebration in Heaven today! Seems like yesterday that we all were walking the halls of Finley going to the cafeteria or making a Taco Bell run with all the change we had! The immaculate landscaping at Peace College can not compare to what your eyes have beheld Vera. I was blessed by your strong faith in God and by your love for your family and friends. Until we meet again sweet sister...Happy Birthday!

Vera, I just learned of your Homegoing today! During our time at Peace College, I was blessed to have so many wonderful friends/sisters. You were grounded in your faith and I am blessed to have been able to share two years of my life with you and my Peace sisters. Truly Heaven has gained an angel! Until we meet again dear friend...God Bless you and prayers lifted for your family in the days ahead.

Vera's sweet spirit and kind smile will forever be missed. I always loved talking with her and spending time with her and talking about all the good country cooking we were missing when we were away at school. She loved her friends and family so well.....and the children that she taught were blessed to have her for a teacher. I'm sure the Lord greeted her with "Well done thy good and faithful servant." Love you dear friend.........
