A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF LATE MR. CHUKWULOTA VICTOR EFOBI (1951-2016) Chukwulota Victor Efobi was born on October 12th, 1951 in a family of Six. His background was expressively with humble beginnings. He attended St. Joseph’s Primary School, Ekwulobia but barely completed his primary education due to the outbreak of the Civil war in 1967. He served out his apprenticeship under the tutelage of Mr. Richard Anyaorah and Mr. Goddy Mbionwu. Ifemelunma, as he was fondly called by his peers, grew his business of supplies of timber from the Western part of Nigeria to the Eastern Nigeria, precisely Enugu; then to retailing of timber at Enugu Timber Market, Awkunanaw. He was a force to reckon with in his supply-chain timbre business and yet diversified his business ventures in other areas. He was pragmatic and enthusiastic about life; smart, intelligent and God fearing in his dealings. He served in the Market Association in various capacities. Chukwulota got married to his beautiful wife in 1980 and is blessed with a loving family of Seven Children and a grandchild. His remarkable qualities as a loving father, to care and to provide have been stupendous. A rare-breed with respectable family values, a disciplinarian and a father to many. He has raised and trained a generation of achievers that will forever hold him dear. Before his illness and eventual demise on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 he was a devout Catholic and an active participant in his community development projects and has served in various capacities in Ekwulobia Peoples’ Assembly as well as Okpo Peoples’ Assembly of Enugu Branch. DEATH, they say, is an acquired trait, and there is no mortal who will not taste of its bitter pill. When it will come, no mortal knows; but like an unrelenting stalker, it shadows its victims and takes them away the way a hen plucks its feathers.  His life’s story is that of doggedness, exemplarity and emulation. He has fought a good fight but most importantly he has lived!   farewell daddy! Your memories will never be erased!
