V.I. Mosin
Viktor Ivanovich Mosin (August 18, 1939, vilage Gorenskaya Sloboda, Kaluga region - 18 May 2003, Moscow) - a professional soldier, an officer with higher military-political education, political commissar of the USSR Interior Ministry, Colonel (1986 ), veteran of military service (1987).
He was born into a rural military family. In 1959 he graduated a railway college № 1 in Kaluga. In 1965 he graduated from the Leningrad military-political school, and in 1975 he graduated from the V.I. Lenin Military-Political Academy in Moscow.
From 1559-1962 - turner at Kaluga Turbine Works; 1962-1965 - student of the Leningrad military-political school; 1965-1966 - deputy commander for political affairs of 31 team squad of internal security of the USSR; 1968-1971 - assistant Chief of the Political Department in military unit 3275; 1971-1974 - instructor of department of party organizational work in military unit 3469 of the Interior Ministry of the USSR; 1974-1976 – a senior instructor of party organizational department work in military unit 3469 of the Interior Ministry of the USSR; 1976-1978 - Head of the Political Department in military unit 3280; 1978-1983 - lecturer at the Main Department of Internal Troops of the USSR; 1983-1986 - Senior lecturer of the Main Department of Internal Troops of the USSR; 1986-1988 - chief of the Political Department of the Main Department of Internal Troops of the USSR; 1988-1991 - Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Main Department of Internal Troops of the USSR; 1992-2003 - Head of administrative department of "Luzhniki Olympic Complex."
He was awarded 15 State awards and medals, including the Medal "Excellent internal troops of Bulgaria" I Degree; the jubilee medal "For Military Valour in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin "; Medal "20 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945"; the medal "For faultless service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR III degree, the medal" For Distinction in Military Service "II degree; the Medal "For Distinction in Military Service" I degree and the medal "In memory of the 850 anniversary of Moscow".
He was married to Svetlana Alexandrovna Shevyrev.
He died mysteriously on 18 May 2003 in a day after he was put in the Main Clinical Hospital of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow. Buried at Mitino cemetery in Moscow.
