Happy Birthday Wendell! Gone but never forgotten!!

I really can't remember a time growing up that Wendell wasn't there! Being first cousins, we were always together! Our families got together every Sunday, after church, for dinner! What fun we all had! Times were so simple back then! I remember when Wendell got polio at 18 months old and the family came together to help in his care! I will always treasure that time growing up with him!! As we grew into adults, our paths took different routes, but everytime I went to Ruskin, I tried to see him! We always had a bond, that even though we didn't see each other that much, couldn't be broken! Even as adults, he always called me 'Sistee'! What a wonderful person he was, and I am so blessed to have known him! Rest in peace!!
