I had the opportunity to work with Bill for about 8 years on various research projects as an external research supplier. Bill was always extermely professional and courteous, with a total commitment to excellence. Over the years, it was my pleasure to get to know Bill on a personal level. He was knowledgeable and articulate about a wide variety of topics, truly a well rounded individual. In particular, he loved to talk about his Alma Mater, Michigan State University, and was a big football and basketball fan of MSU. Since I grew up in the midwest and went to a Big Ten school myself, we had a lot in common. i think the thing that probably stood out the most to me about Bill was his genuine caring and concern for people to whom he was close. He was complimentary, kind, engaged, and always a kind soul. And although he was a very intelligent and talented individual, he was also one of the most humble and down to earth individuals I've ever met. It was a pleasure to know Bill, spend time with him and work along side of him. I was lucky to have had the chance to know him. God bless you Bill, you will be missed.
