William B. Reichert
Former St. Lawrence Council & Planning Commission
William B. Reichert, a former member of St. Lawrence Borough Council, died XXXX- - at ------ in his residence in Muhlenberg.He served on St. Lawrence Council & Planning Commission for several years in the 1980’s.
Reichert, xx.,was the husband of his partner Carole A. (Penn) Reichert who passed away on December 15, 2014 from breast cancer. She fought it for 9 years. They had a fantastic marriage of 49 ½ years.
Born in West Reading, he was employed for 37 years in various engineering positions at Carpenter Technology Corporation, retiring in 1999.He was the son ofthe late Earl S. Reichert and Fern A. (Manmiller) Reichert.
He served in the Army Reserves with the 365th Engineers.He was a member of Masonic Lodge 62, Scottish Rite and Rajah Shrine.He was also a member of the American Legion Post 878 in Oley.Enjoyed being on the PC, playing golf, pinochle and taking family photos.
He was a graduate or Reading High School, Class of ‘57’.
Reichert is also survived by son, Kevin M, and daughter Tracey M. Reichert both of Muhlenberg, PA.
There are two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
