I am very sorry that I was unable to attend today’s Mass for Bill. I had the highest regard for him as a person, as well as a fellow attorney. I have not met very many people who were so delightful to be with.

Bill was a good lawyer and a great friend. He was very protective of Pioneer Life. I remember the first time Peter Nauert asked me to look over a litigation file, Bill called me into his office, went over the case and when it came time to turn the file over, he passed it to me, but held on. . . then finally let go . . . . I always have fond memories of our time together.

Such a loving and generous man who was so proud of his family. Bill and Lyn always treated us like we were part of their family and my kids as if they were their grandkids. The world has lost a great man who has left quite a legacy with such a beautiful family. We love you and miss you. I will think of you every time I sail on your windsurfer!

I am so glad that I have become part of a loving and caring family. Papa has always been so kind. I remember the first time he met Tyler and Ian and how he played "jail" with them! They still talk about it and that was years ago! Papa was such a generous and wonderful man. I'm so glad I was able to know him and be part of his wonderful family! You will be so missed, Papa!
