We are so sad to hear of the loss of this wonderful man. My family just learned of his death. We were customers and friends for over 30 years. My son has cystic fibrosis, so we were there nearly every week, and Brett was kind, generous, helpful, and understanding. My heart breaks to lose him.

I was pleased to have seen this website and to have the chance to say something about Brett. We were customers since the day he first opened the store. We all have fond memories and were so sad to hear that Brett is gone so soon. My son, who has asthma, remembers Brett making sure he had his medicine after store hours years ago. My daughter remembers being a little girl and walking with her friend from Nottaway Pool with her snack money to buy penny candy, and he would always make sure they got extra! He was such a great pharmacist, always taking care to do things right, but more than that he was a really GREAT guy. I am very, very sorry for your family's loss.

In those minutes-and they held no sense of time for me-
others touched me, and their warm embraces were absolutely real.
I saw colors I would have never believed existed. I've never, ever felt more alive than I did then.
I was home; I was where I belonged. I wanted to be there more than I had ever wanted to be anywhere on earth. Time had slipped away, and I was simply present in Heaven. All worries, anxieties, and concerns vanished. I had no needs and I felt perfect.
