I met Eagle in basic training, from that point on we shared a bond that could never be broken. We went through a lot and he's the reason I am who I am today.

I remember going to church with him on Sundays just to get a way from the stress of basic training. One moment that stands out is we sang the song "on eagles wings" we got a kick out of that because of the relation to his name.

He even came to see me in Missouri before we went to our duty stations, what a great guy!
