His Life

Willie Edgar Jarrett was born June 27, 1948 to the late Edgar Jarrett and Lucille Copeland Jarrett of Shiloh, Georgia.  God Called him home August 28, 2012 at the home of his mother Lucille Jarrett.

At an early age he joined the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  Later became a member of the Salem Primitive Baptist Church, Waverly Hall, Georgia.  He served until his health failed him.

He was employed by H Goodman and Sons and Foster Lumber Company.

Willie touched the lives of everyone who came in contact with him.  Willie loved helping others. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Jarrett; his son, Tony Anthony Jarrett.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving mother, Lucille Jarrett, wife, Annie Bell Jarrett, daughter, Susie Ann Green of Shiloh, GA; sons, Willie Edgar Jarrett, Jr., Alabama, Jerome Jarrett, Newnan, GA; three grandchildren, Alivia, Jerome Jerod Jarrett, Loneoak, GA, Lacretia Leigh, Atlanta, GA; two great grandchildren, Omarion Leigh and Jeremiah Leigh, Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Mae Francis (Larry) Hardnett, Shiloh, GA, Dorothy (Amos) Pruitt, Pine Mountain Valley, GA, Geraldine Jarrett, Atlanta, GA; four brothers, Lonnie (Yolanda) Jarrett, Atlanta, GA, Leon (Gwen) Jarrett, Donald (Brenda) Jarrett, Shiloh, GA, Gerald (Brenda) Jarrett, Pine Mountain, GA;  a loving aunt, Blanche Lee Stanley;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
