Tributes
Leave a tributeThis morning, I woke up unhappy, down, really down, not wanting to get out of bed. Thinking of how sad and depressing this Man-race can really be sometimes. Thinking!!! Ahhhh Thinking of many young lives lost too soon.
For 15 years, I have been mostly silent about your passing on into glory for the pain and stress was deep. Then I took my phone, saw your photo. The pain started creeping and flowing back BUT GOD SHOWED UP, and took my mind back to what HE did for me EXACTLY ONE YEAR OF YOU PASSING ON TO GLORY.
In the mist of all the pain and turmoil of this world, EXACTLY ONE YEAR April 30,2003 from that date when your Uncle Gboyega who cared for you so much call me and we planned and ran with MANY Friends and Family around Atlanta to bring closure to this. God COMPENSATED me with a special gift. He laid a new foundation of blessing for me. I receive a (hard to get) State License to operate a School
Abiola before your death, you were a blessing. After your death you are still a blessing. For God is blessing everyone that has participated in your Home-Coming. I thank God and your family for the opportunity.
Yes, Abiola, you are greatly missed. You will always be missed, but I have the confidence and joy that you are with our Lord Jesus.
I, your aunty Bunmi Mark-Ige, I miss you greatly and I love you dearly. Rest Peacefully for now until Christ returns. Then you will rise with the Saints in Christ JESUS and live forevermore. R.I.P
And death is only a boundary line
And a boundary line is nothing
Just the limit of our sight

My Poem for you, Precious One!
God saw you getting tired Biola…
He looked around his garden
and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth
and saw your tired face.
Knowing a cure was not to be on this earth,
He put His arms around you
whispering “Come to Me”…
He saw that the road was getting rough
and the hills are hard to climb.
So He lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be very beautiful, as He always takes the best!
With tearful eyes we watched you.
We watched you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Our hearts were broken for God to prove to us,
He chose to take the best.
But each time we see your picture
you seem to smile and say,
“Don’t cry, I’m in God’s hands now,
we’ll meet again someday!”
Abiola, that indeed is our joy and our comfort!
We love you Precious One, but He loves you more!!
