Lyn was also fun to be with! I met her at Boulder Colorado College alum events, and enjoyed her very much.

Dr. K left me a better person. She imparted so much kindness and wisdom upon me over our years together at the Brigham. She touched so many people and will be dearly missed. My warmest thoughts for her family.

Demetri, I was your piano instructor when you were a little boy in Chestnut Hill and I was still a student. Your dear mother became a friend to me, encouraging me as I became a concert pianist. She would send the occasional note over the years, usually about you. But I played a recital in 2006 for the Boston Celebrity Series, and after reading the review, your mom sent me one of the most heartfelt and genuine notes of congratulation I've ever received. She was a great lady, and I am honored to have known her. My condolences on your loss. She clearly lived the fullest life possible.

Ah, Dr. K! Warm and fierce indeed. I never had the pleasure of working directly with you, but you shaped legions of Boston blood bankers. Dr K seminars were not to be missed, always informative, interesting, timely and at times amusing. Rest in peace, Lyn.

Lyn has been a wonderful friend, colleague, and advisor.Alway kind and generous to all those that sought her help. I remember her passion as a member of the Hellenic Women's Club to have a larger us have impact on our charities. She worked tirelessly as a researcher, setting an example for the rest of us that had to break glass ceiling. I will remember her always for her constant and uncomplaining attention to George during his illness. I was looking forward to celebrating her birthday with her. Her good humor will be missed by all of us who were her friends.

Dr K (Lyn) was my mentor and dear friend in Immunohematology. I have so many wonderful memories of her and how she inspired me and supported me in my career. She was indeed a beautiful caring woman.
