Anna was a very wonderful instructor. She was very strict whenever it came to our dental assisting program. I am so blessed becoming one of her students. I had learned a lot of valuable knowledges about dental assisting from her. Even though she was gone, she will be missed. I wish she is peaceful in heaven now. I am very thankful for her teaching.

Although I have not known Anna Nelson for a very long time, I recognized how special this woman was. Her dedication to her students, CADAT, peers, and fellow instructors shows her undeniable enthusiasm for the field she loved. I humbly submit my sorrow in the loss of such a wonderful lady, and may her light of enthusiasm continue to shine in all of us.

Anna loved dental assisting and being an educator. She was a driving force in the ADAA and the ADAA Foundation. Her passion and enthusiam was apparent in everything she did. She never met a stranger and her love of her family and friends will live on. She is with her beloved dad and mother watching over us all as we try to carry on. We will miss you and think of you often, Anna.

Anna thank you for allowing me to use your home when I visited in San Francisco and inviting me into your family. You now live among the fellowship of the saints. You will be missed here on earth by all of us who love you. "O God, accept our prayers on behalf of Anna and gran her an entrance into te land of light and joy ..."

Anna was always full of life. She had kind words to share about others in her family, friends and school. She was an inspiration to me and a mentor. She was so excited to retire, but not to sit still. She would help whenever needed!

I am honored to have known Anna. We only saw each other once or twice a year at CADAT and occasionally at other events. I got to know her father and enjoyed many conversations and laughs with Anna. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Anna Banana - what a blessing she was to me and my family. She opened her home and shared her family with me and my family on many occasions. Passion, energy, devotion...these are all words that come to mind when I think of her. Through laughter and tears Anna lived each moment to the fullest. Anna will be deeply missed and I feel honored to have called her my friend and peer.

Family is not always defined by blood. Often it is the ties that one fashions in life and how those ties are maintained. Anna will always be a part of my family and we  treasure the time we had with her.

As I worked with CADAT for the first time last year, Anna made a special point of making me feel welcome and important as a contributor. She certainly impressed me with her passion, committment, and huge smile and sense of humor. I know you will all miss her.

Anna was a wonderful person who made such a difference in the lives of so many dental assistants. She was such a valuable resource to me so many times when planning editorial for Dental Assisting Digest. I always looked forward to seeing her and chatting with at ADAA functions. I know she will be missed by so many people, including me ... but her legacy will live on.

God must have needed a good dental assistant and instructor in heaven...One who was not only caring and loving but one with a great sense of purpose along with a great sense of humor. Dentistry and Anna's family/friends lost a shining star this past week....I have a feeling she's in heaven organizing projects as she did here on earth. We will miss you Anna!
