AnneMarie, you were not only our new, next-door neighbor at Lake Gilman, you were our first friend there too. The first evening we drove up to look at the property, we met you and Cicada out for a walk. A simple, hello, turned into a 20-minute chat that felt more like connecting with an old friend, than meeting a stranger. We will always cherish your warm welcome, along with your wish that we would get the house. Getting to know you was a special joy, especially discovering how many friends we had in common – your beautiful aunt Bonnie, who I knew from her time singing with Dynasty, and Joe Mulgrew, who’s candy store I visited every day as a boy, on the way home from St. Richard’s School. It is very hard to believe you are really gone, Sweet Girl. I still look for your wave from the deck each morning, and expect to see you turn the corner with Cicada every afternoon. I miss you very much, dear friend – I will always miss you here. My comfort lies in knowing that you are safe and well now in the arms of Jesus, and that one day we will meet again in heaven – as much more than neighbors. Until then, I pray that God comforts your family in their sorrow over losing you, much too soon to have told you, goodbye.

My Dear Carol and Family, I am so incredibly sad to hear about your Beautiful AnneMarie. I think burying a child no matter the age is the most difficult thing to do.
Prayers and Hugs for all of you
Your cousin, Pat Hughes Aaron

AnneMarie - “contagiously Fabulous “ just hearing her name brings a smile to my face, when hearing of her passing it was a heartfelt shock . I would see Anne on rare occasion here or there, but it was as if no time passed . A true Blue . Rest In Peace Beautiful Friend

Words seem so inadequate to express the deep sorrow felt by the loss of AnneMarie; they cannot mend our family's grieving and heavy, broken hearts. Life will never be the same without that one of a kind fighting spirit that all who knew Anne felt when they were in her presence. What I personally admired the most about AnneMarie is her later years when she made the choice to devote her life to Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior -- She will forever be an inspiration of strength and genuine truth.

John 3:16 "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

My beautiful friend Anne, I love you always! Too many fun times to count. You taught me so much and I am forever grateful. Even though you will be missed here, I know you are happy and healthy now with God. Til we meet again, I love you!

I have so many stories, but i will never forget when i went to north west Pennsylvania to visit her, she worked hard with the pipeline, she invited me to this older woman's cabin who she loved and the older lady loved black bears, and AnneMarie sat at a picnic table with them, I was shocked, it did not bother her at all,she loved them. and feed them!!!

Anne Marie was such a character! She was always smiling and so nice to everyone she met. She was always kind and caring even to strangers....she considered everyone a friend. The world has lost a true "free spirit". She was one of a kind and will be sorely missed. RIP Anne Marie, I am sure you are already antiquing in Heaven and having a blast.
