Daddy,

It seems like I cannot find the words to express how much I miss you. You never treated me like a daughter-in-law, but always just like a daughter. Andy and I would actually laugh and call you my boyfriend because of how often you and I would talk throughout the week. I could always call you and instantly feel better. No matter if it was Mother's Day, my birthday, or any old regular day you took the time to love and spoil me. I am going to miss how we would crack jokes, and you would make me laugh uncontrollably. To be honest, I feel a bit empty right now. Although I loved you tremendously, I know that God loved you more.

Until we meet again,
Tree

Uncle Arthur, affectionately known to us as "uncle A", you were such an intelligent, hilarious, and humble man. I always enjoyed our talks over the years, especially the family history lessons you shared with me. You could paint a vivid and endearing picture of the family. And despite the miles between us you stayed connected to your roots and never forgot your family in Texas. You were one of my grandmother Dossie's "baby" brothers and she loved you dearly. When we last spoke less than a year ago, you had me laughing at myself with your humor. We are proud of your service to the country, to our family, and your remarkable 83 years on earth. Rest easy. I love you and will miss you forever.

Uncle Arthur, we love you and we are missing you so much. We know you are healed now and in a better place. We are forever grateful for every moment, every minute, every hour of every day we had to be with you. We thank God for allowing us and choosing us to be by your side, we don't take that for granted. You truly blessed us with so many wonderful memories and shared so much knowledge you will forever be in our heart, in our conversations and forever rich in our history. Until we meet again, We Love you

Your Nephew & Niece,
Jeff & Lynn

You meant so much to all of us
You were special and that's no lie
You brightened up the darkest day
And the cloudiest sky

Your smile alone warmed hearts
Your laugh was the music to hear
I would give absolutely anything
To have you well and standing near

Not a second passes
When you're not on our minds
Your love we will never forget
The hurt will ease in time

Many tears I have seen and cried
They have all poured out like rain
I know that you are happy now
And no longer in any pain.
