The flight attendant and the gate agent
I first met Barbara in December of 1980 in Honolulu at the gate upon arrival of her flight from San Francisco. Thus began a true friendship and it became so wonderful as the years went on. No matter where she lived, where she flew her trips to, we had such fun when we could get together.
She was an amazing woman, her courage in fighting any illness (and beating it!),
her love for her family and friends, her faith, were beautiful to behold.
Her inner strength to overcome any obstacles was a testament to her nature.

To condense 30 years of friendship with Barb Schutz in a few short paragraphs is, quite honestly, an impossible task. But suffice it to say, I refuse to beleive that she's gone. She's not. She's just flying a different line in a different dimension. This woman has taught me more about life and living than any other single soul in my mortal existence. Her physical presence may no longer be with us, but her life does indeed live on. She's busier than ever, and I look forward to the day we meet in person again!
