Dear friend, it is so special to remember so many great memories on your birthday. We are so blessed to have flown when we did and that we can look back and smile at having such special people in our lives.
I thought of you just a moment before I opened my email this morning and discovered another chance to leave a message ... God is so good! I love how the Spirit of God moves in our hearts. I will always remember you, Barb, with humor and love.
What a wonderful time you must be having in the presence of your Savior and King. You know more about Him now that any of us ever will here on dusty earth. What great love!!! Miss you, Barb!!
Well, another year has flown by. I know you are with your King and Savior and have experienced what the rest of us only wonder about. You are missed, Barb, and loved.
Do birthdays even matter where you are at Jesus' side?? Or, is the day you go to be with Him remembered each year??? Regardless, I wish you a happy remembrance of the day of your earthly birth, Sweet Friend. You are missed, remembered and well-loved.
Bible study has resumed and every time I look at the seat Barb filled every Wednesday morning, I feel her absence, but I KNOW she is at the feet of her King, Jesus. Miss you, Barb!!
What a precious lady in my life, who's hugs I will miss at Wednesday morning Bible Studies! The light of Jesus shined through her beautiful smile; even through her pain! She was/still is an inspiration of how to live God's Word; Galatians 6:6-10! I came to know her even more through the beautiful tribute given at her 'celebration service', by family and friends! I thank our Lord for the little time I shared with Barbara! God bless her family and friends!
There will be an empty place at Bible study on Wednesday mornings - Barb always sat in the same seat week after week and she will be so missed when I glance to my left and remember she is with Jesus, her Savior and King. "I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes ..." Job 19:25-27
Barbara was a wonderful friend. When it came to cancer she was LIVESTRONG amazing. I miss our phone chats already. ...their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. Wisdom 3.2-3
From 1988 dear Barb took me under her wing. She always was my go to person for all my questions about international flying, business advice, insurance issues and especially union concerns. I loved her from the first moment I met her and always will.Thank you ,Barb, for for your generous spirit and grit! I miss you. Ingrid
