There’s not enough words to describe my Uncle Bill. This is the type I thing I never thought I’d write. But this man deserves any and every tribute made in his name: The funniest person I’ve ever met. Not only that, but his humor was effortless. Uncle Bill (along with my parents, grandmother, and other uncles and aunts) taught me the importance of family. Some of my fondest memories as a kid were going to visit him, Aunt Joan, Kelly, and Kaitlin down in Long Island. From going to the beach, from my father squirting him in the eye with washer fluid. That’s the first time I heard the f word. I will be forever be grateful for that. Uncle Bill’s passion for life, sports, and fun is something I admire and aspire for. And he taught me how important love, compassion, and family are. And for that, a “thank you “isn’t an adequate response. Rest In Peace to one of my heroes. I also want to send all my love to my Aunt Joan, my cousins Billy , Shannon, Kelly, and Kaitlin. All my love to all of you always.
