Robert (Bob) James (1933-2021)

A funeral will take place Friday, April 16th at Fox River Christian Church in Waukesha. Visitation begins at 5:00pm with a service at 6:00pm.

Bob passed away at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Barbara and his children; Robert (Rosemary), Kathy, and Joe. He will be missed by his grandchildren Mike (Bethany), Dan (Nikki Hill), Landon, Sarah (Josh), his great-grandchildren Nathan, Maddie, Emma, Brandon, Brooklyn, Bailey. He is preceded in death by his sons Tom, Dave and Dan. He will be remembered fondly as Papa and Uncle Blob to extended family and friends.

Bob was a member of the US Marines where he was a transport driver during the Korean Conflict. After serving his country, Bob continued working in the transport field. He was employed at Motor transport in Milwaukee for 25 years, then spent time driving busses across country. He also worked as a dump truck driver for several years.

Bob loved the outdoors. He spent many weekends getting away with his family in Wautoma, Wi.

Bob will be remembered for his generosity, his willingness to help when needed, and his unique sense of humor.
