As I lay in bed and cry and miss you- especially today- I start to do what I always do and look at pictures and videos of you. In almost every single video I have of you, you are singing and dancing and laughing. This reminds me of a story that is so simple, but sums your personality up so nicely. 

My sister Stacey lived in Payson, Arizona for a few years and one of Caitlin’s favorite things to do was drive from Tucson to Payson for a weekend getaway. One weekend as we are driving up there, Caitlin is of course in the front seat controlling the music. I’m driving and Shawn is in the back. As she’s blasting the music and singing- she starts to encourage and then demand that Shawn and I join her and she points to us when it’s our line of the song. It takes us a minute, but eventually we comply and sing our parts. She’s so proud of herself and she laughing and dancing and says to both of us “What would you guys do without me? Your lives would be so boring!” ❤️ She wasn’t wrong- life was much more exciting and fun when she was here.
