Doug - I think of you everyday. I still cry everyday. I still think of you as the baby I gave birth to; I still think of you as the baby that I nursed in the middle of night when just the two of us were awake. I still think of you and the baby who fell asleep in his high chair with his teddy bear. I still think of you and the boy who played baseball and basketball and I was there to cheer you on. I still think of you as the young man riding his motorcycle; I still think of you as the young man who got his heart broken by his high school sweetheart. I still see you on your wedding day. I was with you when your first son was born. I made a memorial for you in the back garden next to the fish pond. I plant fresh flowers at your memorial every spring. It is November; the weather has gotten to freezing; but the pansy's and marigolds are still alive; go figure. I miss you, my son. I can't wait to be with you in heaven. I love you...Mom
