5 years ago seems like yesterday. One blizzardy evening at the ranch, reaching way back to the mid 1960's, a stranded motorist knocked on the door to use the phone to call for a tow. Three bookmarks were immediately placed into our reads and R, the big o and Sheryl were off to 'supervise' the towing operation. Let the fun begin! I'll never forget, briefly looking over my shoulder seeing Sheryl doubled over in laughter, as the truck pulled away, like a train out of the station. You see, she had convinced R and I to hold onto the back bumper of the now hitched car and ski, in tennis shoes, on the icy road, pulled by the tow truck. She was out to teach us to not go gently into that good night. I always keep bookmarks around, thanks to Sheryl, just in case adventure comes knocking. She lives in all of our memories.
