Adieu Chief - the Senior Advocate for the Masses. Humorous, down to earth and a social freelance across ages and generation. You had a joke for everyone and every situation, related to everyone irrespective of social status.
A towering legal luminary, astute & crispy with deliberate words that sways legal victory easily in your favor. You fought for justices and equity selflessly. Tribe or religion were immaterial to you but you related to All from the window of justice and equality before the law.

Rest in perfect peace Chief Ladi Williams

Dear uncle, The past seventeen years of my life had always been in and out of your home, I remember when my mom had to take care of my brother in the hospital, aunty picked me up from the hospital to stay with you until my brother recovered, and yet you never complained, you were always so accommodating. Thank you for being a kind grande-uncle and may your soul rest in peace, we will miss you dearly.

Dear Uncle Ladi as we call you. This is still like a dream. You accepted me into your home as your wife's niece and a daughter. As far back as the mid 90s. You and my Aunty had my back 100 percent till date. From my wedding, school and even my husband's sudden demise. You opened the doors of your home and transferred the love even to my kids. You will be greatly missed. To my Aunty, Dr. Henrietta Williams. God will console you. May the soul of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen

I have known Hen (as we, her classmates called and still call her) and Ladi for many years; Ladi, through his mum who is related to my sister Mrs Femi Ashley-Dejo’s step-mother (of Coker family). Hen picked me as one of the Bride’s Maids at their wedding and I used to visit their young family with my children.
Ladi was very jovial and full of mischief. He really loved children and they adored him. The last time I spoke with Hen, she and Ladi were on their way to spend some time together in Calabar.
I pray that the Lord continues to comfort and strengthen Hen, the children and all Ladi’s loved ones.. Prof. Olayinka A Abosede

Uncle Ladi rest in peace, may heavenly Father grant you eternal rest. I will always miss. You and Anti Hen with the Children were they first from Deji's side of the family to meet my parents and that meant a lot to me. In 2000
when they boys and I came back to Nigeria to visit we stayed at your house, . You and Anti Hen treated us so nice it was unreal. They boys are very fond of you , anti Hen , Kunle and Rotola. Anti Hen took they boys to so
many places, we were treated very special . When I came to visit Nigeria with my girlfriend you and anti let us stay in your home and we had a great time. Rotola welcomed us with open arms.  I thank God for all the good memories. Uncle, you were a man of timber and caliber, a force to reckon with. May the good Lord open up the gate of heaven for you.
with great affection and love
