I am shaking my head in disbelief that it has been 3 years since we lost you. It is just not the same on the road without you, Chris. Miss you my friend!
I will always be looking over my shoulder for Chris - checking to see if he is still right there, on our tail. Man, I will miss you! So many miles, so many conversations. So many good times.
I am disappointed you left early Chris when I thought you had so many years left. We have learned so many interesting things of your life since your passing; and its in regret I didn't ask more about you earlier . I have ridden many fun bike rides with you thru the years, and yes we had a recent difference but am so glad that went away quickly, so we continued on very good terms and cycled more. We have both ridden in California Triple Crown double Century rides. You 26 of them. Impressive! God Bless You
Chris volunteered with the Redlands Bicycle Classic for many years. He was on the team I lead to assist the officials score the riders. I always enjoyed talking to him about his experience in the Marine Corps, bike rides and his VW GTI. He was a colorful character and always kept us entertained while we waited for the riders to come by.
