Godfrey, your tragic death left a big vacuum in our lives and a deep feeling of loss in our hearts. We thank God for your coming. It was a gift having you in our lives and sharing our children together was really a blessing. We cannot but trust and have faith in the Lord to heal our broken hearts and grant us peace and tranquility to deal with your passing. Rest in peace my husband.

Dad, your impact and presence is still being felt even though you've been gone from us for a year now. Hardly a day goes by without there being a thought or reminder of your time here with us. You are truly missed.

Wow, tomorrow will be a year since my fathers passing. His presence and impact is felt everyday here at home and I know that you are watching down on us in heaven. Stacy just graduated High-school and will be attending CAL POLY this upcoming fall, I know that you would be most proud of her. We strive everyday to be better, your legacy will live on! My father was my hero. He taught me many life lessons, like work hard and it will help you in the long run. And to always be determined on whatever task your doing. Some nights I still think to myself and say why take my father? But God has his reasons. All I know is that he is watching over his loved ones in heaven.

Dearest uncle, I still can't accept that you're no longer here. I miss you terribly, we all really miss you - your smile & cheerful laugh, your meekness and your incredible sense of humour. Your sudden departure has been the most heartbreaking loss I've had to endure in recent times. You left too soon but fond memories of you will forever remain in our hearts. Rest well dear uncle.

RIP Colonel, may u find solace in the bossom of the Lord, I was looking forward to meeting you again after you humbly invited ♍e into the 'Ijaw nation' forum first hand with your personal laptop computer,that kind and loving fatherly gesture will remain in ‎​my head. You made sure every Ijaw is involved in Ijaw emancipation. just like the music playing now,you are indeed gone too soon. I feel sad whenever I remember that Col. Okoro is no more with us. Through his innovation, the Ijaw Nation Forum, I have been blessed with a new family and friends. He was a friend and a big brother....a soldier moderator who would make sure we achieve our set objective each time we have meetings.

Dearest Uncle it is with a very rude shock, but to the Glory of Almighty God that I received the sad news on that fateful day. We remain grateful to God Our Father in Heaven for making you what you were to the entire Ijaw brothers and sisters. When I read all the tributes, tears rolled down my cheeks. Am glad that you were a "MAN OF THE IJAW PEOPLE WORLD WIDE" REST IN PEACE.
