In all sincerity, I remember my relationship with Mama as one full of prayer and the reassurance of love.
Regardless of a partial language barrier, I understood (and my Dad would translate) Mama was consistently praying prayers of safety, support, grace, and anointing for not only myself but Mamas entire family.* 
Whenever I had the chance to spend time with Mama over the years; from infancy to my adult life, I have memories of her intentionally nurturing and comforting me with her soft and affectionate touches.
It is nothing short of a blessing to be Mamas grandchild.
