Aunt Daisy you will be missed. You touched so many people in your lifetime. When I heard you had passed on to be with our Father my thoughts automatically went to all of the church programs and plays that my children were involved in because of you. Rest in Peace.

My grandma was a strong and faithfilled woman. I can't even remember a time when she wasn't serving the Lord. She was prayerful and stayed in the Word. And she made sure that we knew God for ourselves. She will forever be missed; until we meet again. Love you forever and always.

Daisy was a mother to many and a mother to all. This is what I remember about your mother. When I came home with Millicent she always fed and cared for me during my time there. I even think she fussed at me when Millicent would get us in trouble. Daisy you were loved.

The Electric Typewriter

Shared by Stephanie Pratt on August 20, 2011

Aunt Daisy was watching me and my sister one night and she was typing a letter.  I had never seen an electric typewriter before and was so fascinated.  I came up close to where she was to see how this electric type writer worked.  She told me how sensitive the keys were, but I couldn't believe it.  So as she was typing I stretched my arm out and applied a finger to one of the keys and instantly an unwanted letter appeared in her document.  My aunt stopped and looked at me; I looked at her; and I knew I was in trouble by just that look.  I had ruinned a very important document that night.  We didn't have correction tape or whiteout then.  So she had to start over.  I sat on a chair far, far away from where she was working for the rest of the night.  She and I laughed about this many time.  This is one of the many, many fond memories I have.  I love you Aunt Daisy.

The Last Mother's Day
