We talked politics all the time and I convinced him to register to vote in the 2020 election. I mailed him the Texas voter registration form with a stamped return envelope. He emailed me a copy of his voter registration card when he received it in the mail. He was so proud. I was so proud. He voted for the first time during his lifetime in 2020. He trusted me, and I will always honor this.
