Daniel Earl Gammon died November 5th, 2014 in San Francisco, California, after a courageous battle against chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

       Born August 22, 1957 in Lewiston Maine. Daniel attended Telstar High School in Bethel Maine graduating in 1976. He immediately enlisted in the Navy with the base out of San Diego he served his time on the submarine U.S.S. HALEAKALA
AE-25.
     
       After the service, with his honorable discharge, vitality and youth Daniel desided to make San Francisco his home. Daniel continued his education in computer software development and graduated with honors. He was employed by the Bank of America but continued his passion for technology in networking.
He enjoyed various types of music, collecting antiques and had an eye for oil paintings
 
        He cared deeply for his family, close friends and his best fried Kiari his cat
who showed him unconditional love in Daniel's most severe hours of illness. 

        I met Daniel when I was thirteen and he has always been a gentle compassionate soul that lifted spirits and made the world a better place.

        I will always hold dear to my heart the many cherished memories we shared for he was closer to me than any of my blood brothers.

        The world was a better place with him in it. I will miss his presence gravely.
