When Linda and I were dating and later when we were married, we got to spend some very special times with Dan. From the moment I meant him, I liked him and could see how special he was to my wife, Linda. Whenever we were together, I always learned something from Dan and had a great time. A few years after we moved to New Mexico, we planned a trip back to New York. Dan was so excited we were coming back, that he organized a phenomenal reunion including family and friends. He thought of every detail and created a memorable time for everyone. It is just an example of Dan's kindness, caring, initiative and "can do spirit." Then for many years we lost contact until Dan and Sue came to visit us in New Mexico two years ago. Not only did we get to spend some precious time with Dan, but we got to meet our wonderful new cousin, Sue. We then got to go back to New York and visit both of them. Again a fantastic time with so many precious memories: days on the beach, our boat ride to Fire Island, the Beach Boys concert, that wonderful restaurant in Little Italy, Mama Mia, and many many more memories. . It is hard to believe he is gone - never mind gone for a year! I will always remember these special memories and Dan's contagious smile. AND I am so glad Dan brought Sue into our family!
